  • Web based learning is also called online learning or e learning because it includes online course content. Discussion forums via e mail video conferencing and live lectures (video streaming) e portfolio are all possible through web.

  • Discussion forums where teacher can observe the student’s active participation.

  • E portfolio where the learner collected all materials and assignments electronically during the course.

  • Web based learning enables learner centered approach.
  • Role of the teacher is a motivator who encourages & supports students in independent and group work activities. He should be a mentor who guides the students and an organizer who plans learning activities.
  • e based learning is one way to learn using web-based technologies or tools in a learning process.
  • In other words, learner uses mainly computer to interact with the teacher, other students & learning materials.
